Who we are
Diversified Telecom Services, Inc. was established in Sarasota, Florida, in 1984. Its primary goal was to provide the highest quality telecommunications products and service available, to meet all of the customer’s communications needs. In 1998 the company’s name was changed to Diversified Telecom Inc., to reflect an expanded range of capabilities. Its purpose has always been to provide the highest quality economical solutions to meet all the communications requirements a customer may have.
In the past twenty-four years its customer base has grown to include small and large customers on a national level. While still centered in Sarasota, Florida Diversified Telecom has been involved in projects, both consulting and contracting, all over the continental U.S. Its reference list has grown to include national accounts, such as, Crosscom National and Dental Care Alliance; as well as local customers, including: SunTrust Banks, Columbia Blake Hospital, the Sarasota Herald Tribune, Griffin Holdings, Sarasota Orthopedics, and Zenith Insurance. Diversified Telecom’s customer base is as diverse as its range of services and includes banks, manufacturers, restaurants, law firms, as well as various healthcare and media organizations.
Diversified Telecom provides services including sales, system programming, cable installation, consultation, and support services on a contractual basis for clients nationwide. These services are available for a broad range of hardware and software products to fit whatever requirements are specified by the customer.
With their extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, the founders of Diversified Telecom recognized the need for more than just affordable technical expertise on specific systems. The dynamic changes currently taking place, in the telecommunications industry, demand an ever-expanding knowledge of a wide variety of data and telecommunications products. These products have become vital to every company functioning in today’s modern business world. For a company to interact with any entity outside itself (including customers), it must have a means of communication. Without efficient means of communications, no company can reach its full productive potential. Diversified Telecom can provide the equipment and service necessary, for any company to fully realize this potential.
Diversified Telecom’s technicians have numerous certifications in structured cabling and the telecommunications industries. These certifications include: Registered Communications Distribution Designer, BICSI membership, and various Key System and PABX certifications (with over 20 years of experience). Diversified Telecom’s first priority in business is customer satisfaction.
